Description:
This contract MRI Supervisor position is a full-time leadership role scheduled Monday through Friday.
The supervisor is expected to provide operational leadership and support for a multi-campus MRI program.
This includes maintaining the ability to perform clinical MRI examinations as needed during low staffing periods.
The MRI Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a multi-site MRI service.
This encompasses multiple MRI scanners across various locations and approximately 30 FTEs.
MRI services operate across a broad range of hours, requiring oversight of multiple shifts and workflows.
Key responsibilities include daily oversight of MRI operations across multiple campuses.
The role involves staffing coordination, schedule management, and operational planning.
Clinical support and MRI scanning coverage during staffing shortages is also required.
Patient flow management and optimization of scanner utilization are important aspects of the position.
MRI safety oversight and regulatory compliance are essential responsibilities.
The supervisor will also be involved in employee coaching, onboarding, and performance management.
Collaboration with radiologists and operational leadership is critical to achieve departmental goals.
Identification and implementation of workflow improvement initiatives are expected.
Monitoring quality metrics, patient experience, and departmental performance is part of the role.
The MRI department utilizes advanced imaging services and various MRI platforms.
Candidates should have experience supporting a diverse range of routine and advanced MRI services.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance supervisory responsibilities with hands-on clinical support.
Experience in driving operational excellence in a healthcare environment is highly desirable.
