Key Responsibilities of the MRI Tech- Perform MRI scans across various specialties including Adult Acute Care, Pediatric Acute Care, Brain, Chest, and others.
- Ensure patient preparation and administration of contrast media.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary radiology teams to optimize patient care.
- Utilize PACS and GE systems for image management and post-processing.
Requirements of the MRI Tech- ARRT-R and BLS certifications
- Valid MRI certification
- NY State License (must have at start)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
