Travel MRI Tech - $3,200 to $3,500 per week in New York, NY

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: New York, NY 10019
Start Date: December 7, 2026
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Required License & Certifications:

• New York State License (L.R.T.)

• ARRT Certification

• Graduate of a JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of MR Physics, Cross-Sectional Anatomy, Physiology, and Physical Sciences

• Excellent MRI technical skills and patient safety knowledge

• Preferred: 2 years of MRI experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures and ensure diagnostic-quality images.

• Position patients and coils appropriately.

• Screen patients for MRI safety and provide procedure instructions.

• Ensure accurate image labeling, PACS transmission, and documentation in IDX.

• Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards.

• Follow departmental protocols and assist physicians as needed.
