Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

• Perform MRI procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients
• Handle patients with implantable devices, and those needing neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac imaging
• Operate GE Discovery 750W and Siemens systems including Aera and Magnetom Skyra
• Utilize EPIC for charting and McKesson PACS for image storage
• Collaborate effectively with lead tech, coordinators, and imaging assistants

Requirements of the MRI Technologist

• BLS certification
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification
• 3-5 years of experience in MRI
• Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI equipment
