Specialty: MRI Tech. Shift: 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday. No call, no weekends, no holidays. First-time travelers are accepted. Years of experience required: 1 year. Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted. Skills required include Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma. Experience with Pediatric Acute Care and Pediatric Outpatient is preferred. Proficient in Abdomen, Female Pelvis, Male Pelvis, and MR Aortogram. Experience with Chest, Brain, and Face/Soft Tissue Neck imaging is necessary. Competency in Magnetic Resonance Angiogram (MRA), Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), and Isolation Precautions/PPE is essential. Experience in Preparation and/or administration of contrast media and Clienttion Safety is required. Skills include Starting Peripheral IVs, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images, and spinal imaging. The unit cares for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 20 visits.
