Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging procedures using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment
  • Manage an expected patient volume of approximately 9 patients per shift
  • Work collaboratively alongside a Tech Aide or another MRI Technologist - independent solo work is not expected
  • Participate in call coverage as needed, particularly after midnight when the department transitions to on-call staffing
  • Maintain availability to work weekends, evenings, and assigned holiday blocks as scheduled

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of current, hands-on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience
  • Active ARRT (MR) Certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
  • GE MRI equipment experience required
  • MRI Skills Checklist current within the past year required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital imaging environment
  • Familiarity with on-call and rotating shift expectations in an acute care setting
