Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Must have an active state license Certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Siemens and PACS experience, ability to float between departments as needed Description: Radiology/Cardiology MRI Technologist position available. Shifts include Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday/Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Daily census is approximately 20 patients. Experience required includes adult acute care, adult ICU, and adult outpatient ER/trauma settings. Specific skills needed include abdominal procedures such as MRA and MRV. Chest imaging, including a focus on the thoracic area, is also part of the role. Head and neck imaging skills are necessary, including brain and cranial nerve assessments. Musculoskeletal imaging experience is essential, including imaging of the upper and lower extremities. Knowledge of isolation precautions and preparation/administration of contrast media is required. Experience with special imaging procedures is essential. Experience with spinal imaging is also required. This position requires flexibility to accommodate weekend shifts. Regular floating may be required between departments and facilities as needed.
