Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(MR) certification for a 13-week acute care travel assignment.

Details

  • Work in the MRI department of an acute care hospital with a Level 3 NICU, Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, and other specialty units
  • 1 MRI unit at Main Campus plus mobile and open MRI units at an outpatient imaging center
  • Equipment includes GE MRI at Main Campus, GE Mobile unit, and Hitachi Open MRI
  • Uses Cerner EMR
  • Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Weekend call rotation for STAT imaging requests, including Friday nights and Saturday/Sunday
  • Potential to float to an outpatient imaging center approximately 5 minutes from Main Campus

Requirements

  • ARRT(MR) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Cardiac imaging competency preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • AHA certifications required
  • Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform MRI procedures including stroke imaging and MRI with anesthesia
  • Scrub color is flexible
  • Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate; local rate available for those within that radius
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
  • Must start on one of the facility's designated 2026 orientation dates
