Must-Have:
- Traveler Experience: Unit will not accept first-time travelers
- Familiarity with preferred patient group: adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- Skills: abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE
Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
The expected start date is based on the schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability.
Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week.
Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes.
Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.
The final start date will be confirmed on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
Unit orientation will be conducted.
Client orientation will occur during the first week, and travelers must be available for classes each day.
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.
Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur.
The contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
Floating candidates must be open to floating within/near the facility per job description.
Travel pairs are allowed, provided they are on different units and disclosed.
Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing.
All testing must be completed within 48 hours.
References can be pending at submission.
Pre-start modules are non-billable.
Time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours.
Modules must be completed pre-start and annually.
