Travel MRI Tech - $2,396 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Body scans will include enterography, defecography, musculoskeletal imaging, and breast imaging including breast biopsies. Staffing per scanner will consist of either two Level 2 Technologists or one Level 2 Technologist and one Level 1 Staff.

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 1 Year Required License: ARRT MR Certifications: ARRT MR, BLS Must-Have: - Inpatient and Outpatient MRI experience - Experience with a variety of scans including Brain, Body, and Spine - Trauma Level I experience required Description: This position involves working three 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Call is required on Mondays through Thursdays every 3-4 weeks. The MRI technician will perform a range of scans including brain perfusion, functional MRI, and spectroscopy. Body scans will include enterography, defecography, musculoskeletal imaging, and breast imaging including breast biopsies. Spine imaging is also part of the job responsibilities. The daily caseload is approximately 11 exams per scanner. Staffing per scanner will consist of either two Level 2 Technologists or one Level 2 Technologist and one Level 1 Staff. Special equipment used includes Siemens Aera 1.5t and Siemens Skyra 3.0t MRI machines. Fit testing for respirators is mandatory, and all travelers must comply with safety regulations. Travelers will need to complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to the start of the assignment. All clinicians need to adhere to the one-year travel limit and take a six-month break before returning as a traveler.
