Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging studies with an expected volume of approximately 6-7 patients per tech per day
• Support a heavy neuro patient population including spine, stroke, and head trauma cases
• Assist in imaging support for student athletes as needed
• Operate Siemens Vida 3T and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T MRI equipment
• Document and manage patient information using Cerner EMR
• May work independently as a solo MRI tech depending on shift assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Kentucky state license required (unless grandfathered in)
• Experience with neuro imaging and acute inpatient patient populations
• Strong patient care skills and a positive, professional attitude

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with Siemens and/or GE MRI platforms
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
