South Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36116 Level I Trauma Center Level III NICU Primary Stroke Center General Information: Please ensure travelers understand this will be fast-paced and high acuity. Number of Beds (if applicable): 492 Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, if strong experience with the required skills. Will you accept a first-time traveler?  Yes, with at least 2-years’ experience with the required skills. Patient Types: Inpatient and outpatient, Adult and occasionally pediatrics (outpatients/ED) Patient Ratios: 1:1 Varies – average 4 patients/hour (40 patients per day) Required Certifications: BLS required for all ARRT required for all MRI Tech: ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT Skills required:  MRI: MR Procedures: Head/Neck, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, MRAs Technology/Equipment: The rad techs purchase their own markers. EMR: Cerner MRI equipment: GE Artist 1.5T Floating: If yes, where? Yes, throughout the hospital. Traveler will work in the main Radiology department but in different areas of the department. Orientation: 1 – 8-hour hospital orientation, 2-3 shifts on unit. (Dayshift w/another tech). Please ensure travelers understand this. Scheduling: Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy Holiday Expectations: This does not mean they will automatically be scheduled for those dates, but we will not contractually guarantee to being off prior to arrival. Weekend rotation: Varies (typically once a month but subject to change based on departmental needs) On call requirement: Voluntary Holiday Expectations: Varies, per hospital policyo   RTO approval: Email Manager for approval if traveler is requesting more than 7 days off. Traveler must extend contract to accommodate PTO.Shift times: 12H/10H/8H Other notes: Scrub Color: Any color Parking: Free For X-ray Techs: On weekends, there are generally 3-4 techs and 2-3 students. During the weekdays, there are typically 7-9 techs until 3p then 3-4 techs with 2 students until 730p. There are typically 3-4 techs per night. MRI will be one tech and possible student on weekends. On Friday there will be 2 techs until 730pm. We have centralized transport for the hospital M-F 630a-530p and Sat/Sunday 7-330p. The ER is the main focus for the weekend in ER. They will transport patients too and from the department.
