Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans including brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdominal, and cardiac studies
Operate GE 450W 1.5T MRI equipment in a fast-paced radiology department
Document and manage imaging using Meditech and Centricity PACS systems
Participate in weekend call rotation (typically one weekend per month) and two weeknight call shifts per week (typically 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Collaborate with a team of day and evening shift technologists to ensure quality patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Virginia MRI Technologist License
MR Registry (ARRT or equivalent)
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
Demonstrated hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment (required; candidates without this experience will not be considered)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience performing cardiac MRI scans
Familiarity with Meditech EMR and Centricity PACS
Comfort with on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend schedules
