Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• MRI unit with 1 scanner and 1 table
• 2 MRI Techs on staff, 12-hour shifts
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Equipment includes GE 1.5T Discovery 450 MRI scanner
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Shift schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Must be able to work independently
• Critical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability required

Additional Information

• Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures without use of X-rays
• All black scrubs required
• Facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Facility has received 5-star recognition for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
