Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mother Baby RN requiring Level I nursery experience, NRP, and a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• Mother Baby Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Level I nursery experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to mother-baby patients ranging from simple to complex cases
• Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products
• Collaborates with physicians on examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Educates patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegates tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Strict adherence to credentialing and compliance deadlines is required with no start date flexibility
• Previous travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, with a 6-month separation required before reapplying
• 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or assignment termination
