Schedule Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). No call required. Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays. Job Description Join a dynamic team in Frederick, Maryland, where you will provide compassionate care in a 27-bed unit specializing in couplet care and support for postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients. This role will also involve floating to Labor & Delivery to assist with LDRP needs, with no L&D triage or circulating responsibilities. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients Support Labor & Delivery as needed, including antepartum and postpartum cross-training Conduct newborn assessments and manage couplet care Educate parents on care practices including circumcision care and breastfeeding support Monitor patient health and respond to any complications, such as postpartum hemorrhage or pregnancy-induced hypertension Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 3 years of RN experience, with acute care experience required Previous travel nursing experience is essential Active Maryland RN license or compact license at the time of submission (no exceptions) Current BLS certification C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification) required at the time of submission Experience in antepartum and EFM is preferred Why ARMStaffing?
