Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings accurately.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including attendings and residents present 24/7.
• Float to Medical/Surgical Units as required, managing up to 4 or 5 patients.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the EPIC EMR system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of continuous MICU experience.
• Active Massachusetts RN License.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Competency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips.
• Ability to manage a 1:2 or 1:1 RN to patient ratio with high acuity patients.
