Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, current acute care experience in MICU or a closely related specialty
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Recent hands-on experience with ventilators, IV starts, and critical care procedures
• Proficiency with Epic charting
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt in a high-acuity ICU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care for adult and geriatric patients with complex ICU diagnoses
• Monitor and manage mechanically ventilated patients, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status
• Support therapies such as CRRT, arterial line monitoring, central line care, and vasoactive drip titration
• Administer complex medication regimens and blood products safely and accurately
• Perform and support procedures including suctioning, IV management, and specimen collection
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered critical care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced Medical ICU setting
