Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse in Columbus, OH. We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, our facility is committed to supporting our nursing staff with the resources they need to succeed.

Schedule: 3x12's / 36 Hours / D/N Schedule rotates every 4 weeks or 4 weeks days/4 weeks nights. Estimated Patient Ratios: 1:1-2.

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience. EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Certifications Required:

• BCLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• AHA Certifications only

Skills Required:

• Proficient in IV start
• Experience with telemetry
• Competency with ventilators

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Proficiency in EPIC documentation system

Specialized Experience in:

• Multisystem Organ Failure
• Respiratory Failure
• COVID
• Sepsis
• Post-Cardiac Arrest
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Liver Failure
• Renal Failure

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

• Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Hyperglycemia
• Externalized IV Pumps for COVID+ Patients

Special Equipment Knowledge:

• NxStage CRRT
• Alaris IV Pump
• GE Cardiac Monitor
• GE Ventilator
• Boom Lift in Each Patient Room

Parking Options:

• WMC Monthly Permit: $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days. Includes guaranteed 24/7 parking in the Wexner Medical Center Garage.
• WB Annual Permit: $196.20/year, paid upfront. Includes 24/7 West Campus surface parking and shuttle service.
• CXS Annual Permit: $393.96/year, paid upfront. Includes 24/7 Buckeye CX and West Campus surface parking.
