Join a leading acute-care hospital in San Antonio, TX, as a Contract RN in the ICU. Unit Highlights: The MICU (4C) unit is seeking experienced RNs who are ready to take on the challenges of critical care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and be prepared to float as per the facility's policy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Perform procedures such as intubations, central lines, and dressing changes.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active TX RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Preferred: MICU & MSICU background, IABP and CRRT exposure, Meditech experience.

Dress Code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket. Maintain a professional appearance with clean hair and nails. Visible body art should be covered, and visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
