Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ICU Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA! We are seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This travel contract offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a Critical Care Department.

As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for caring for patients with complex medical conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, and multi-system organ failure. You will work in the MICU and SICU, providing critical care to patients undergoing thoracic surgery, liver transplants, and more. Your expertise in various specialized areas will be essential in delivering the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products and critical care medications.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status promptly.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures such as trach care, ventilator management, and CRRT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other campuses as needed, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of ICU experience required; first-time travelers accepted with relevant experience.
• Active compact nursing license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; CCRN preferred.
• Epic experience required.
• Flexibility to meet unit needs, including block scheduling.
