Key Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Scientist

• Conduct medical laboratory testing in areas like Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and some Microbiology
• Engage in specimen processing during night shifts to provide coverage during breaks

Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Scientist

• MLS or MLT certification from ASCP or equivalent
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• At least 3 years experience as a MLS or MLT
