Job Opportunity – Clinical Lab Scientist (Blood Bank) – Orange, CA 92868

Location: Orange, California
Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (21:30 - 07:30, may flex to 20:00 as needed). Rotating weekends and holidays required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Requirements:- ASCP-BB certification required; Clinical Immunohematology Scientist certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent/current blood bank experience (within the past 2 years) required
- Seasoned travel experience in blood bank settings required – multiple travel assignments preferred
- Large hospital experience (300+ beds) required
- Level I Trauma Center experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred
- Epic experience required; blood bank software experience (any system) required
- Proficiency in high-volume type/screen, crossmatch, antibody identification, and transfusion reaction workups
- Experience with Wellsky and Immucor instrumentation preferred
- Valid California state license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Ability to work independently on night shift with confidence and clinical expertise
