Job Opportunity – Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Generalist – Bethany, MO
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Bethany, Missouri
Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week, 38 guaranteed hours weekly. This 13-week assignment includes holiday coverage for Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
Highlights:- Critical access facility offering diverse laboratory experience
- Generalist role covering multiple laboratory disciplines excluding microbiology
- Work with modern equipment including iSTAT, Sysmex analyzers, Vitros 7600, Siemens CS-2500, and Cepheid systems
- Utilize Meditech Expanse LIS/EMR system
- Opportunity to apply blood banking and phlebotomy skills in a comprehensive laboratory setting
- 13-week contract with guaranteed weekly hours
Requirements:- Current MLT or MT certification through AMT (American Medical Technologists) or ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology)
- Proficiency in quality control procedures and independent task management
- Basic blood banking skills, including gel card methodology
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Strong time management and ability to work independently on night shift
- Experience with laboratory information systems preferred
