Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Blood Bank


Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 10:30 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 5×8s | 40 hrs/week guaranteed

 

⭐ Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Blood Bank experience
  • ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS certification – REQUIRED
  • Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist only
  • ❌ Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) not accepted
  • Clinical laboratory experience with specimen testing and analysis
  • Clinic laboratory experience preferred

Schedule & Holidays

  • Every 3rd weekend
  • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays:
    • Thanksgiving Day
    • Christmas Day
    • New Year's Day
  • Plus 1 minor holiday:
    • Friday after Thanksgiving
    • Christmas Eve
    • New Year's Eve

Important

  • 13-week assignment
  • No local candidates within 50 miles
  • 40 guaranteed hours/week

Best fit: Certified MT/MLS with 2+ years of strong Blood Bank experience. This position specifically requires an MT/MLS, so candidates with only an MLT background will not be considered.
