Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are responsible for providing patient care in a specialized 12-bed medical-surgical unit focusing on geriatrics with behavioral disturbances and medical issues. The role involves conducting pass/fail electrocardiogram (ECG) and telemetry tests during onboarding, with a focus on dementia, confusion, and impulsive elderly patients. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and effective patient management in a fast-paced environment.

• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license, ability to pass ECG/Telepathy and medication tests within 48 hours of offer, minimum of 0 years of experience, and available for daytime shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in geriatrics, behavioral health, or telemetry units, and familiarity with working in high-acuity settings.
• Additional Information: Orientation is biweekly. The unit maintains a ratio of 4:1 patients to nurses, with 1-2 CNAs during day shifts. NM will interview and extend offers; candidates should provide available interview dates and times. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. Candidates who have worked for the healthcare provider within the last six months will not be considered unless separated for at least six months.
