Job Summary
Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse - Days - The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit. The role requires the ability to interpret strips independently, pass specific testing during onboarding, and adhere to unit protocols. The assignment is structured for an 8-week period starting on 12/08/2026 with a 12-hour Day shift schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour dayshift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience of at least 2 years, current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the applicable licensing board, CPR and ACLS certifications, Epic experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience and experience interpreting strips independently.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This unit does not have tele techs; all RNs are required to read and interpret their own strips. Candidates must pass a test during onboarding, including ECG/telemetry and medications tests, with a score of 85% required. Testing is administered via Zoom within 48 hours of confirmation, and preparation using the study guide is recommended. Candidates should be prepared for a 12-hour dayshift schedule every other weekend.
