Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse positions are available in the healthcare facility's medical-surgical unit. These roles involve providing comprehensive patient care for adult and geriatric populations, including assessment, planning, and execution of nursing interventions. The positions require collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California State Nursing License, BSN degree, ACLS, BLS, CPI certifications, NIHSS certification preferred; 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, telemetry experience, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Additional Information: Provides care for adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 8-20 patients. The unit supports patients requiring observation or admission holds with specific focus on cardiac, GI, and respiratory concerns. The RN may be asked to float to other units within the Emergency Services Division and will participate in orientation and continuous quality improvement activities. Responsibilities include documenting patient care, managing medical equipment, and collaborating with physicians and support staff to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
