Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse Location: United States. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill patients in a healthcare facility setting. The position requires independent clinical judgment and adherence to established standards, emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative team environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse (RN) License, NIHSS certification, and current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider: 1. Basic Life Support (BLS) card. 2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) card.
- Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a bachelors or associate degree.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care for patients.
- Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to develop and revise individualized care plans.
- Utilizes evidence-based practices, adheres to policies, and complies with infection control protocols.
- Monitors and documents patient status and responses.
- Participates in staff meetings and professional practice evaluations.
- Completes mandatory educational coursework and skill competencies.
