Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) nursing position located in en_US. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting within an acute care environment. The position requires collaboration within a virtual integrated care nursing model and adherence to unit-specific protocols.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Transitioned to a virtual integrated care nursing model, requiring adherence to the schedule provided. The unit handles patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; 3 years of clinical experience related to the specialty; valid nursing license; willing to wait for license submission.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with staff floating to all medical-surgical units and possibly to the Progressive Care Unit to care for telemetry holds prior to transfer.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a bed ratio of 6/1, with RN staff engaging in patient read strips, and extensive use of Cpap, Bipap, and high-flow respiratory equipment. The unit requires staff to work every other weekend and holiday shifts, with orientation provided for department-specific protocols.
