Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) RN Location: undefined. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients in an acute care setting, focusing on medical surgical and telemetry units. The role requires managing complex patients with conditions such as oncology, hematology, sepsis, heart failure, pneumonia, and other medical diagnoses, utilizing advanced clinical skills and experience.

Job Details

Certifications and Education: BLS (American Heart Association) certification required. Valid license to submit is necessary.
Experience or Skills: Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience with comfort managing complex patients and titratable drips such as insulin, heparin, cardizem, nitro, amiodarone, and blood transfusions. Prior travel experience is preferred.
Schedule: Variable day and evening shifts (0700-1930 and 1100-2330). The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday. Shift hours are 12, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Unit staff includes charge nurses and nurse aides, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 during day/evening shifts and 1:6-9 overnight. Floating may be required within medical-surgical units for up to 4 hours. Orientation includes one day of computer training and one 12-hour shift on the floor.
