Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Glendale, California. Delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups while supervising nursing staff and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Applies critical thinking, professional judgment, and the nursing process to promote safe, effective, and compassionate patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
- Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote patient safety; collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; provide health education; participate in discharge planning; delegate appropriately; and coordinate the activities of healthcare team members.
- Additional Information: Required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. Float rotation may be required for medical-surgical and telemetry assignments.
