Job Summary
Registered Nurse Medical Surgical With Telemetry Reno, NV. This position provides comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families or caregivers. The Registered Nurse coordinates care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while supporting individualized patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 minimum hours per week, typically scheduled as three 12-hour shifts. The schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
- Required Qualifications: Nevada Registered Nurse license required before start; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; successful completion of a telemetry competency examination, including identification and measurement of telemetry rhythm strips; at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience; prior travel experience required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process and coordinates care with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while addressing the cognitive, psychosocial, and clinical needs of patients and their families or caregivers.
