Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are needed for a healthcare organization in a facility setting. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout shifts. The assignment offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment, delivering essential nursing services to adult patients.
Job Details:
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Nights
- Schedule: 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 10/05/2026
- End Date: 01/04/2027
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred), CA Registered Nurse license
- Required Qualifications: CA RN license, 5 years of experience, valid ACLS and BLS certifications, 36 hours of orientation, current and validated licensure within the last 2 weeks, minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in relevant areas, proficiency with electronic charting systems (Epic preferred)
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II experience, previous charge nurse or leadership experience, familiarity with blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, and Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Additional Information: The role involves managing adult patients with diagnoses such as falls, sepsis, UTI, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, and CHF exacerbation. Skills required include managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central Line Care, Chest Tubes, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Candidates should be prepared to handle various clinical procedures, operate advanced monitoring equipment, and work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.
