Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana.
6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Float Requirement: First to float within skillset.
Call Back Requirement: N/A
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 2 years of strong Cardiac/Tele, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Patient Population: High acuity Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy, (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions. CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysis.Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, amino, etc.). PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubes.
