Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry. This role supports care for patients in a fast-paced cardiac and stroke environment, including continuous telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac catheterization care, and neurological assessments. The position is scheduled for day shifts and requires collaboration within a team-oriented clinical setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required prior to submission.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, cardiac catheterization recovery, stroke care, chest tube management, and cardiac infusions.
- Additional Information:
- Provides care for patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and cardiac infusions.
- Performs post-catheterization access-site and neurovascular assessments, including radial band management.
- Supports intravenous starts, cardiac rhythm surveillance and escalation, chest tube care, patient-controlled analgesia pump care, and stroke or neurological assessments.
- Utilizes equipment such as intravenous infusion pumps, bladder scanners, electrocardiograms, enteral feeding pumps, noninvasive ventilation devices, wound therapy systems, and telemetry monitoring equipment.
- The ideal candidate is positive, adaptable, team-oriented, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced cardiac and stroke environment.
