Medical Surgical with Telemetry specialty position in a healthcare facility setting. This is a travel assignment for a nurse responsible for delivering high-quality care to adult, geriatric, and telemetry patient populations. The role involves self-studying telemetry strips and passing a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week of the assignment to work on the telemetry unit.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/10/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license/certificate verification, Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months, ACLS certification, and self-studying telemetry strips with passing the dysrhythmia test during the first week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience is advantageous; float requirements include non-critical care inpatient units and occasionally to the Emergency Department or Critical Care Units.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The assigned units include Medical Surgical and Telemetry, with ratios currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights for telemetry, and 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights for medical-surgical patients. The traveler may be required to float to alternate campuses as needed. Flexibility for on-call periods with a response time of one hour may be necessary.
