Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position requiring float flexibility across multiple units and an active IA or compact RN license.
Details
- Resource Pool position requiring float coverage to all med-surg floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele
- Must be willing to float to the West Lakes Campus, located 9.5 miles from downtown
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- 24-hour notice for call-off (NBO) is waived
- 26-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Nursys license verification required, dated within 30 days of start
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across multiple med-surg and telemetry units as part of a resource pool team
- Local candidates accepted in Iowa at the standard local rate
- Radius rule of 90 miles applies for MercyOne and Genesis locations in Iowa
- First-time travelers may be considered
