Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position located in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing holistic, patient-centered care for adult and pediatric patients in an acute care environment. The RN is responsible for assessments, planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate smooth transitions of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), two years recent relevant experience, previous RN experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry, previous experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience, trauma level II experience.
• Additional Information: Responsible for clinical assessment, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, patient education, and documentation within electronic health records. Mentoring of new staff and participating in safety initiatives may be required. The role includes working with interdisciplinary teams and adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.
