Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing care within the interdisciplinary team, managing patient recovery, and contributing professional clinical knowledge. The position requires flexibility to float across local campuses and deliver quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: The traveler will contribute professional/clinical knowledge within a multidisciplinary team providing care to surgical and post-operative patients, including telemetry monitoring.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: BLS (AHA) certification required; valid state licenses in Iowa and Illinois; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred; drivers license and work history/resume required; skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, and one supervisory reference required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Clinicians must be comfortable caring for up to 5-7 patients. Experience in surgical, post-operative surgical, or step-down units is required. The role involves minimal on-call, with every other weekend.
