Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a large, fast-paced acute care unit. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical diagnoses, including infectious diseases. The position offers the opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated facility renowned for teaching and referral care, with a focus on collaborative, respectful, and educational environments.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with a start date of 10/12/2026 and end date of 01/11/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license, at least two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty submitted, BLS certification, and EPIC electronic health record system experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood product administration, central line care and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, titration of insulin drips, use of rapid response and code teams.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Must pass a telemetry exam with two attempts, achieving an 80% passing score or higher, including 100% identification of lethal rhythms for adult exam and relevant rhythms for pediatric exam; failure after three attempts will result in assignment cancellation.
