Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse position based in a community hospital. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including cardiac, neurological, and respiratory conditions. The nurse will work night shifts, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, medication administration, and managing complex clinical procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI. Additional required qualifications include 2 years of relevant experience and community hospital experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, community hospital experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, proficiency in telemetry interpretation, IV therapy, and complex patient care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, familiarity with EMR systems, and additional certifications such as Sheath Removal or Specialty procedural skills.
- Responsibilities include monitoring post-cardiac angiogram, managing patients with heart failure, performing IV therapy including PICC line management, handling ventilators, and participating in emergency response activities.
- The candidate may be required to float within scope to other units and departments as needed, including MS/Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, ER Holding, and Post-Cardiac Cath units.
- Open to first-time travelers.
- The role includes weekend shifts, with at least 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period, and requires flexibility to float as needed.
- RTO requests must be finalized at submission, with a maximum of 7 days.
- The assignment duration starts on 11/09/2026 and ends on 02/08/2027.
