Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) located in Oregon, this position involves providing patient care in a medical surgical unit with telemetry capabilities. The role requires delivering high-quality clinical support for patients with diverse health conditions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Valid Oregon (OR) state license with an ETA of approximately 2 weeks, accepted pending license. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience (preferred if unit-specific), Chemo certification, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and peripheral line management, including PICC line care and IV initiation.
- Additional Information: The position involves float responsibilities across Medical Surgical Neuro, Medical Surgical Oncology, Medical Surgical Orthopedics, and Telemetry units. Candidates must be willing to float within the healthcare provider system as needed. Candidates are required to attest to tele experience. Submission must include proof of a Washington state license application if applicable, and references from the past two years.
