Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry Winchester, VA. This position involves providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced, acute care setting within a 495-bed facility. The RN will float to various units, leveraging extensive telemetry and cardiac experience.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only); VA State License or Compact
- Education Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Years of Experience: 2+ years minimum required experience, including two years in telemetry or medical-surgical units
- Job Role: RN in Medical Surgical with Telemetry, providing patient care across units requiring cardiac expertise
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Location: Winchester, VA
- Requires ability to float to other units, including Cardiac, Med Surg, and Telemetry
- Previous travel experience preferred; block scheduling will not be accommodated
- Must have cardiac experience and at least 2 years of clinical experience in telemetry or med-surg units
- Responsible for acute care patient management for adult patients with various health concerns
- Candidates should have experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment and maintaining patient safety standards
- Candidates may request up to two days off for holidays, and RTO requests will be reviewed
- Travel distance requirement: candidates within a 50-mile radius are considered
