- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float: May be required as needed
- Orientation: 24 hours
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; med/surg telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic required
- BLS required
- ACLS and NIHSS preferred for success in this telemetry nursing role
- Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
- Comfort working a night shift schedule with weekend coverage
- Willingness to complete required onboarding compliance steps, including EKG testing
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care to adults and older adults with general med/surg and telemetry-related conditions
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Manage common diagnoses including respiratory conditions, diabetes, surgical observation, renal issues, substance withdrawal, and palliative or hospice needs
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products according to unit protocols
- Perform assessments, document care accurately in Epic, and communicate updates with the care team
- Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, wound care, drains, feeding tubes, and other routine med/surg interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive patient outcomes
- Float to other units or campuses when needed to support patient care
