Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse positions are available in the Olympia, Washington area. These roles involve caring for long-term patients with complex medical and behavioral needs, including dementia, autism, and psychosis, in a short-term acute care setting. The position requires flexibility to float between units and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/09/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification; 1 year of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units; experience with charting in EPIC electronic health record system; ability to manage ports, blood products, wound care, and other specialized procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience; LTAC and trauma level II experience preferred.
  • Float: Will float to medical-surgical units within scope of practice.
  • Additional Information: The unit supports patients with long length of stay and acute medical needs. Patients may require assistance with mobility, medications, and behavioral management. Medical and long-term care patients are assessed regularly, and providers perform daily rounds. Equipment, including lifts and mobility aids, is available.
