Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting with telemetry monitoring. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on age-specific criteria within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours daily, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio State (OH) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, 2+ years of relevant experience in medical-surgical telemetry, competency with cardiac medications (such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Bumex), knowledge of heart rhythm interpretation and telemetry, strong critical thinking skills, and knowledge of signs and symptoms of stroke.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry and adult patient care.
- Additional Information: The candidate will function within the organization's mission, vision, policies, and procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. Timely reporting and reliable attendance are essential.
