Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Arizona This 13-week day-shift assignment supports safe, comprehensive care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a float pool role. The Registered Nurse applies the nursing process, demonstrates clinical judgment and leadership, and may float between departments and multiple healthcare facilities.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., three 12-hour shifts per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Arizona registered nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; at least 2 years of experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Provides care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies and procedures.
- Uses critical thinking and scientific judgment to support safe patient care.
- Delegates patient care priorities according to the education and experience of available staff.
- Provides direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Patient assignment ratio is 6:1.
- Any scrub color is permitted.
