Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurse position located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves providing patient care on a new and welcoming unit established in January 2025, specializing in medical and telemetry patients. The position requires adaptability, technical skills, and the ability to support a diverse patient population, including upcoming Hematology/Oncology cases starting Spring 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS certification, ACLS certification, NIHSS certification; 18 months of Med/Surg/Telemetry RN experience; valid license to practice in the state, and necessary certifications. Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips, IV starts, blood products, and wound care is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: ONS certification preferred but not required; chemo certification not necessary for upcoming Hematology/Oncology care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within designated regions and facilities based on operational needs, including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, and Central Division. Floating mid-shift involves paid travel time between facilities.
• Additional Information: The unit is a newly established department with a supportive and psychologically safe culture. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including case managers, clinical nurse specialists, RTs, and more. Orientation will be two days for departmental training and facility onboarding. The candidate must be comfortable working with the specified patient types and conditions, and supporting operational needs within the scope of practice.
