Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing direct patient care in a 207-bed facility with a focus on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. The position requires adaptability to cross-train in emergency department settings and manage diverse patient diagnoses such as stroke, CHF, electrolyte imbalances, arrhythmias, and respiratory issues.
Job Details
- Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare organization with 207 licensed beds, including 16 Emergency Department beds and 5 boarding beds.
- Required Qualifications: Current nursing license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry, and ability to work days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system, proficiency with critical care drips, vent management, and telemetry monitoring.
- Responsibilities: Providing patient assessment, administering medications including cardiac drips, managing IV therapy, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and responding to emergency situations. Cross-training in emergency department tasks such as IV starts, labs, and triage is expected.
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week starting 11/02/2026 through 01/30/2027.
- Additional Information: Float rotations may be required, potentially working at multiple facilities within the region, including adult and corridor-specific units. Orientation will include two days dedicated to departmental training.
